DOUBLE HAPPINESS! When East Meeting West

The wedding of J and R was a special one to us as it's a love story of "East meeting West" -- the bride is from Hong Kong while the groom is from Germany. This special element brought us new inspirations in the decoration design as well as floral arrangements. Their wedding was taken place in The Garden Suite of The Peninsula Hong Kong; at this elegant and luxurious venue, the wedding was a real cozy one! 

The "Double Happiness" wedding logo we have created for the couple. Designer's note: The "East Meets West" concept was doing right by two different typefaces - the left one for a Chinese style which representing the bride J, and the right one for a more Western style representing the groom R - altogether they presents "Double Happiness"!

The colour scheme for the wedding, soft and creamy yet with some red for us to carry out the Chinese elements

The floral arrangements and displays are with consideration of this special "East Meets West" theme - the white lantern container, the red and pink palette, and the western style floral arrangement on a Chinese "Double Happiness" vase. 

 

 This board we have designed for the couple as a guest book alternative - guests to put their thumbprints on the board. Of course, we also put the "East Meets West" on the design, could you be able to identify those Chinese crossing over Western elements?

We didn't have chance to take the "finished product". Here is the demonstration. 

 The wedding logo can be applied to different items in the wedding. This is the sticker on the jar, sweeties to guests! 

And yes, the bridal bouquet, and corsages!

Modern Elegance: Wedding Party at Salisbury Room - The Peninsula

We had a long discussion with the couple before their wedding and finally we made an impact to their wedding reception by following a well defined colour scheme. Dear Meomy and Sam, We believe you had a great celebration full of romance, and hope you like all these details we prepared for you. Congrats again!

 Adore it :) the flowers and the frame matching nicely.

I particularly love the round champagne fresh rose bouquet on the right.

  I gave these balloons to kids when the event ends. they gave me a great smile in return :D

A Sunshine Wedding: Garden Suite - The Peninsula Hong Kong

The wedding ceremony for Suki and Daniel was held under the nice warm sunshine at the Garden Suite of the Peninsula Hong Kong. The signature Victoria Harbour view became the best backdrop for there ceremony. The yellow theme colour reflects the cheerful personality of the bride and groom. Congrats to you again Suki and Daniel! :D

 it was a little windy so we waited until the last minute for placing silk rose petals along the route to welcome the bride to march in with her dad.
