DOUBLE HAPPINESS! When East Meeting West

The wedding of J and R was a special one to us as it's a love story of "East meeting West" -- the bride is from Hong Kong while the groom is from Germany. This special element brought us new inspirations in the decoration design as well as floral arrangements. Their wedding was taken place in The Garden Suite of The Peninsula Hong Kong; at this elegant and luxurious venue, the wedding was a real cozy one! 

The "Double Happiness" wedding logo we have created for the couple. Designer's note: The "East Meets West" concept was doing right by two different typefaces - the left one for a Chinese style which representing the bride J, and the right one for a more Western style representing the groom R - altogether they presents "Double Happiness"!

The floral arrangements and displays are with consideration of this special "East Meets West" theme - the white lantern container, the red and pink palette, and the western style floral arrangement on a Chinese "Double Happiness" vase. 

 

 This board we have designed for the couple as a guest book alternative - guests to put their thumbprints on the board. Of course, we also put the "East Meets West" on the design, could you be able to identify those Chinese crossing over Western elements?

We didn't have chance to take the "finished product". Here is the demonstration. 

 The wedding logo can be applied to different items in the wedding. This is the sticker on the jar, sweeties to guests! 

And yes, the bridal bouquet, and corsages!

Balloon Fantasy - Wedding at Harbour Grand Kowloon

The wedding of S & N was a great fun with lots of balloons, and of course, flowers! Romantic yet happy colours, pretty flowers, balloons and laughters! The backdrops were specially designed with 2 different colours - the one at foyer was filled with balloons with the fun yet romantic colours, while the giant one inside the grand ballroom for the ceremony and dinner was designed with grand bright colours! Flowers wont be missed as the major decoration item, the whole decoration is fun-filled yet elegant.

Passionate Purple - Wedding Party at The American Club Hong Kong

For a cozy wedding party under lovely weather, a deeper shade of purple was chosen as the main color of this wedding, it was a nice touch to combine lighter and softer colours throughout the decor. Congrats again Winse and Derek :)
